Proverbs 30:32
32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
Satan is after your thoughts, but so is God
Your life is in your thoughts. Fear, confidence, strength, loyalty, hope… all in your thoughts. Consider these scriptures: “As a man thinketh so is he” (Proverbs 23:7) “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1)
Your present reality in your thinking
What you think on continuously, you become, because it is going to come out of your mouth. If you find that your thoughts are venturing in a negative direction, the Christian must take steps to guard what will come from his/her mouth. What you think is going to come out of your mouth without fail unless you stop it. The consequent is true, if you train your mouth you will guide your thinking. That is, if you will guard your confessions, and speak only what is good, you will frame your world with good things.

“Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)
“From the fruit of his mouth a man’s belly is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied.” (Proverbs 18:20)
“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” ( Isaiah 55:11)
“Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.. ” ( Philipians 4:8)
